Panchela is one of the most prominent jazz pianists in Europe. Since winning the title of Best New Talent in Italy in the late 1980s, he has performed at the world's most important festivals and collaborated with jazz legends such as Phil Woods, Lee Kunitz, Max Roach and Helen Merrill. His playing combines refinement, romantic elegance and human warmth - a personal signature identified with the best tradition of Italian piano.

On Tuesday, November 25th at 8:00 PM, a lecture by Prof. Dan Bahat will be held in the Templar Arches Hall in the building of the Museum of Italian Jewry and the Dante Institute.
The topic of the lecture: Jerusalem during the Crusader period and the "souvenir" that this period left in southern Italy to this day.

The concert is entirely dedicated to Neapolitan classical and light music, and will feature mandolinist Dor Gideon Amran, singers Rinatia Nissim (soprano), Yonatan Suissa (alto), Ron Zaika (tenor) and Yoav Ayalon (bass), a cappella Jerusalem Vocal Ensemble, the Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir and a string ensemble from among the players of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
